Your partner’s voice, one cue at a time.

Import an original short recording for a partner line. During a focused drill, play that cue and try your own line before revealing it. You control the pacing; audio never advances the scene or grades your answer.

Attach with a deliberate review

1. Choose your acting role and apply scene edits.
2. Open Partner recordings and select another role’s line.
3. Import a WAV, MP3 or M4A. The browser must be able to read its duration.
4. Review the displayed words and listen to the file, then choose Attach reviewed recording.
5. Select your own lines in Focused cue drill. The nearest earlier partner line supplies the cue and any matching recording.

Recording directly through a microphone is not included. Use original recordings you have permission to keep; an imported file may include more speech than its label suggests.

Changed words need a new recording

Each recording belongs to stable scene, line and role identifiers, with the original text and role name retained. Changed wording or a changed speaker blocks that clip in the drill. Import and review a replacement. Reordering lines keeps the attachment and recomputes which earlier partner cue belongs to a prompt.

Deleting a line or scene leaves its recording in the audio library as Source missing, until you deliberately delete it. You can download the original bytes even when the source is missing. Renaming or editing unrelated dialogue does not automatically discard useful recordings.

Keep two private backups

The text notebook and audio library are saved separately. Download both. Restoring text does not restore recordings; restoring audio does not replace scenes. Audio backups contain the original bytes, embedded file metadata and attached line text. Checksums are verified before audio restoration. A checksum protects against accidental byte changes, not against an untrusted person editing a file.

Browser storage can be cleared or run out of space. A conflicting save from another tab is rejected. Reload saved recordings after keeping any needed originals. No audio is uploaded or shared by this tool.

Bounded, manual playback

Up to 30 clips, 5 MiB per original, 30 MiB total and 60 seconds per clip. Private audio JSON backups may be up to 45 MiB because encoded originals take more space. Format playback depends on the browser. Navigation, scene edits and hiding the page stop the player. No background playback, speech following, voice cloning or automatic scoring is promised.
